Belly fat can really sneak up on you if you are not careful. We all know someone that could stand to loose a few inches from their waist.
Why is this condition such a problem for so many people? We often neglect our bodies for many different reasons. I will list for you some of the most important reasons why people neglect their mid-section and overall appearance.
Number one reason
Motivation - Or should I say the lack of! If you are not motivated in the first place, you will never be able to loose the stomach and keep it off.
Your motivation could be as simple as being able to fit into those old jeans that you haven't wore in years. Find your personal motivation and write it down.
Number two reason
Diet - Does your diet consist mainly of high saturated fats? Food that is loaded with so much sugar that you could possible start a sugar plant with? I will admit that changing your diet can be difficult, but if you start eating smaller meals everyday you will find your waist getting smaller fast!
Number three reason
Goals - You must have goals set if you are going to loose your belly fat. If you goal is to loose 4 inches from your waist, you should know that this will not happen in a week!
Keep your goals simple and realistic so you will be able to attain them. If you mess up one day, just get back on track the next day. Don't beat yourself up about it. Think about the big picture, because that is what really counts anyway.
Number four reason
Exercise - Hate to keep dwelling on the negatives, but how are you going to get rid of the belly fat if you are not going to be active? Believe me! Their is no magic pill to eliminate belly fat with no action on your part. If it was I would be rich by now.
Spot treatment is good for the abs, but you need cardio exercises if you want to loose the most belly fat. What are some of the challenges that you have been going through in your quest to loose belly fat?
