Winter time is a very hard time of the year for some people to stay motivated. It always seems that winter is a great time to turn into couch potatoes and start packing on the pounds. Just because it's winter time doesn't mean that you health should suffer.
You may have to make some small adjustments to your workout schedule or routine. Most likely you will have to schedule your workouts indoors. If you don't want to loose all of your gains that you have worked so hard to get, their are some simple steps that you can take to keep you from falling to the trap of the "Winter workout blues."
Certain things that you can do to combat the winter workout blues
* Avoid the junk foods. Winter time in when people tend to eat more comfort foods like chocolate, cookies, pizza........ect
* I know that the cold weather makes people lazy, but you have to stay motivated and keep moving!
* If you are going to workout during the winter make sire you are properly dressed.
You workout hard to stay in shape all year long, so why stop just because it's winter and loose all of your gains, it's not worth it. The winter time is very challenging for all of us workout warriors. If you have any tips on how you stay motivated, by all means please share with the rest of us!
