If you are the type of person that likes to really give it your all during your workouts, you should treat yourself to a good massage. A good massage relieves the tension in your muscles and helps you recover much faster. If you have never had a massage I recommend that you get one. You will thank me a million times over. They are very reasonable priceless, you can get a good massage for around 10 to 20 dollars. I can almost bet you that after the massage has been done on you it will have you feeling so good that you will not want to get up. I can promise you that!
Their are different types of massages
1. Aromatherapy Massage
This one consist of using warm selected oils. Which fills the room with relaxing aromas.
2. Swedish Massage
The massage consist of long smooth strokes, kneading, and circular movements with special message lotion.
3. Deep Tissue Massage
This one is great for weight lifters because it targets the deepest parts of the muscle tissue. They use much slower strokes.
4. Stone Massage
Warm heated stones are placed on the body to loosen up tight muscles. The stones are warm to the touch but not to hot.
5. Shiatsu Massage
This is a form of massage that originated from Japan. They use finger pressure in a rhythm sequence on acupuncture meridians.
6. Thai Message
Thai massage aligns the energies of the body using gentle pressure at specific points on the body. Their is a lot of stretching involved in this type of massage.
You have so many different types of massages to choose from, picking the right one for yourself is the hardest part. I myself get them about twice a week now. I can guarantee that you will get hooked on them. If you have never had a massage before don't forget to tell me how good it was?
