Their are many top notch athletes that are big on jump roping.

* Floyd Mayweather Jr. (Boxer)

* Jerry Rice ( Football)

* Michael Jordan (Basketball)

* Usain Bolt ( Track)

As you can see, if it's good enough for these kind of athletes, it's good enough for us too. One good aspect about jumping rope is that it is very inexpensive. The only thing that you need is a good rope, which you can pick up for about $15. It's also a great workout for people that don't have a lot of time on their hands for exercise. You will get the same impact in half the time of running because of the intensity of jumping rope. What type of workout can be more intense than jumping rope full speed? I really cant think of one.

You will notice a great improvement in your stamina, agility, and foot speed. You overall fitness will be outstanding. What's also good about jumping rope is that it's the type of activity that the whole family can do . You family will be in the best shape on the block. When you really get good you will be able to your own freestyle tricks with the jump rope. Their are just endless possibilities when you start jump roping.
