Here are some tips when playing pick up basketball
1. Try to play with other people that have similar skills as yourself. This is to make sure that you don't get clowned in front of everybody.
2. Before you even start playing, make sure that you stretch your muscles. This will keep you loose and less likely to get injured.
3. Make sure when you are playing that your are being a good sport, if you get fouled just call it,if you give a foul, do the same. It will make the game so much more pleasurable for all the parties involved. Don't forget the game is for exercise, and no one is getting paid.
4. Always keep your mind on the task at hand, which is playing basketball. You don't have a greater opportunity of getting hurt. Take it from me I got injured by not having my mind on the game while playing!
