Most of the food people are eating now are fast food loaded with plenty of trans fats. Their have been some studies shown that most of these fast food places are as addicting as illicit drugs. Their was actually a guy that ate a fast food for I believe 30 days or so, and he ended up gaining 30 pounds in a month. He did this to prove to people that fast food is addicting an not good for you at all. All I am saying is that you don't need this junk. I will list some healthier alternatives that will keep you healthier and living much longer. Don't get me wrong their is nothing wrong with eating your favorites every now and then, but try to keep it to a minimum.

Eat foods the provide a wide range of nutritional value like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

Keep your food portions small

Try to eat 5 to 6 small meals a day that don't go over the recommended daily allowances. This will keep your body in fat burning mode all day and night.

  1. Some more great advice Patrick! I'm glad you made the point about sugar being the leading cause of weight gain. Too many people are stuck on their low fat diets and can't understand why they are getting bigger. If everyone was to follow this advice and eat around 2000 calories a day, spread in 5 to 6 meals, with a wide range of fruit and veg... AND low in sugar, there would not be an obesity epidemic.

  2. Sugar is very addicting, you just have to monitor the amount of sugar that you are in taking daily. The best way to do this is by not even bringing it home.
