I know that smoking cigarettes is a hard habit to quit. I know for a fact because I used to smoke cigarettes . I smoked for a total of 9 years, it's one of those habits that are hard to stop when you get started. I think one of the main reasons people start smoking is because of all of the day to day stresses of life in general.




We have so many of things to worry about these days. We have family, bills, and work. I know that from personal experiences that smoking in one hard habit to quit. It seems that every time that I would try to quit, it would always be something or somebody that would bring me right back to smoking. A big reason that a lot of people smoke is because of the people they hang around tend to smoke also.

Smoking kills millions of people a year

When I was smoking I was over weight also, it just seemed like with me that one bad habit lead to another. My doctor told me that I had to quit smoking. I had problems with my blood pressure and sometimes I felt like I was going to black out.

Their are so many reasons that you should stop smoking, that I could go on forever.

*First of all look at all of the money you would save from buying all of those cigarettes every day.

*Your health would be much better without the cigarettes, plus you will have a much lower blood pressure.

*Smoking leaves your clothes smelling bad.

*Their a plenty of awkward moments if you are around people that don't smoke.

I literally could go on for days about why it is not good to smoke. It is never to late to ditch the habit and start living a healthy lifestyle, if I can do it anyone can. If you are having a hard time trying to kick the habit, then maybe you should join a support group. This will get you around people that you can relate to that are going through the same problems that you are going through. I was one of the lucky ones, that was able to quit cold turkey.The funny thing about it is that I don't even like being around the smell of cigarettes anymore. If you have decided that you want to start living a health lifestyle then you will have to give up the cigarettes.

Some of the benefits of not smoking

*You will finally be able to breath.

*You won't smell like a ton of smoke.

*You health will be much better.

*Risk of cardio vascular disease and different cancers will be cut in half.

As you can see their is nothing good about smoking at all, if their was I would tell you. I have plenty of tips on here to get you in shape, but you have to start somewhere and that is by ditching the cigarettes.
