With a lot of people being so busy these days, it's just hard to find the time during the day to run. Does running at night seem like the only option for you? I will give you some good tips that I use when I run at night, which is about 4 to 5 days a week. Make sure that you that you have a good pair of sturdy running shoes that provide you with plenty of support. If your running shoes are worn make sure that you replace them as soon as possible. Worn running shoes will just leave you with more aches and pains after your run.

Run against traffic
Make sure that you can see the incoming traffic as you are running, make sure you can see the traffic coming your way. Stay as close to the curb as possible. If you can't see the car coming towards you, you are running on the wrong side of the road.
Change your running routes
Make sure that you change your routes that you run to detour anyone who may be studying your routes. Doing this will not make you an easy target for attackers. I also recommend woman keep a small can of mase spray with them at night.
Wear bright clothes
Always make sure that you wear bright clothing when you are running at night. You have to put yourself in the shoes of a driver, would you see someone dressed in dark clothes running towards you car? Probably not, it's just common courtesy. Try to wear something that is bright colored or florescence.
Have identification on you
Make sure that you keep some form of ID on you in case of an emergency.
Run with a friend
If you have a friend to run with , by all means do. If you can't find someone to run with you, just let someone know where you will be and when they can expect your return. How do you feel about running at night?
