If you plan on having any success in the weight loss game, you will need to write down your goals. Is your goal to drop 5 dress sizes in 6 months? Put it in writing. Are you trying to increase your muscle mass by 15 pounds? The key is that if you put your goals down on paper and view them often, they will always be a priority. In turn you would take this priority and turn it into action. This is a formula that has been very successful for many people that have lose weight an now live a healthier lifestyle.
Pace yourself
As you may know loosing weight can be very demanding on your current lifestyle. If you have been the type of person that has never worked out that much, you will have to go about achieving your weight loss goals at a slower pace.
* Make sure you are stretching before and after your workouts.
* Take your multi-vitamins daily to provide you with extra nutrients.
* Try not to overdue it.
* Make working out a part of your life, just like brushing your teeth. Just think about it, would you brush your teeth daily? I hope so! LOL
* Increase your workouts as you increase your endurance.
* Never entertain negative people that don't like the idea of you wanting to live a healthier lifestyle.
Be in it for the long run
Like they always say " Rome was not built in a day" remember that this is a lifestyle change and it will take some time. So when things get tough and you want to give up, just tell yourself that this is for your own good. The better shape that you are in, the more confident you will be. People will notice your new found confidence level and respect you for that. If you are in it for the long run, you will not get all of the wild weight fluctuations that some people experience sometime. Find ways to deal with your stress, instead of eating while you are stressed how about picking up that jump rope to help you get rid of that stress. Your body will love you for this.
