Slow weight loss is much better than fast weight loss

Did you know that loosing weight in a slow manner will benefit you more in the long run? When loosing weight you should be loosing no more than 2 pounds per week.


Try your best to avoid all of the crash diets that are out their. Any diet that has you loosing more weight than that will help, but you will most likely gain the weight back. When you loose the weight very quickly your body goes through an adjustment period. You gradually should change your eating habits to loose weight.
Never starve yourself to loose weight!

If you starve yourself you will loose weight, but you will gain all the weight back when you start eating again. Plus you will most likely gain additional weight because of your body being in starvation mode.

You need to EAT to loose weight! Your metabolism is like a fire, to keep the fire burning you need to put a few logs on it to keep it going. What happens when you dump a bunch of logs on the fire? (large meal) It puts the fire out, your body works the same way with food. That's why you need to fuel your body small healthy meals so you will be able to burn fat 24/7 even while you sleep.

Eating big meals is more of a mind thing than anything else. Next time you are tempted to eat that large meal, ask yourself do you really need to eat all that? Only eat half and save the rest for later.

Get into the action habit of eating 5 small meals a day and you will be able to slowly loose the weight. Keep in mind would you like to loose the weight fast and gain it back or loose it slow and keep it off? The choice is yours?
