You may have heard people say in the past that you have to starve yourself to loose weight. This is so far from the truth. To loose weight you have to eat more! You just have to have the right mix of foods with proper portion control. Most people have no real sense of portion control, that's why they find their waistlines getting bigger an bigger. I'm here to tell you that you don't have to give up all of your favorite foods to loose weight. The only thing you have to change is the way that you are eating them.





Some of your favorite foods that you don't have to give up


1. Pizza

2. Ethnic foods

3. Mexican foods

4. Steaks

5. Hamburgers


Their is a great misconception that you have to give up these types of foods to loose weight. However, you must only eat small portions of these types of food. Just imagine if you would only eat healthy food all the time to loose weight, how long would you continue to eat like this? It probably wouldn't last long. If you were able to incorporate some of your favorites into you new eating plan, do you think you will be more likely to stick with the plan long term and loose weight? Most diets that last let you eat your favorites anyway. If you like to eat chocolate, eat a couple of pieces ever now and then. If pizza is your thing, eat 2 slices or so and let that be it.

Most people get in trouble when they overdue it, instead of just eating 2 slices they just have to eat 4 to 6 slices. Then it becomes a mind over matter thing, or should I say "mind over food."

1. You can eat your favorites but make sure that it fits in the 300 to 325 calorie range.


2. Favorites can be eaten ounce a day. It's better to eat them early in the day, so you have all day to burn it off.

3.You favorites can be part of your 5 to 6 meals per day plan. ( This keeps your metabolism in fat burning mode )

This eating plan is one that is easier to start because you are not just giving up on all of your favorite foods. If you combine this with an exercise program of at least 30m minutes a day you will be well on your way to weight loss that can last you a lifetime.
