I know a lot of you like to work out frequently, but you have to let your body recover from some of the punishment that you put it through. Did you know that you get most of your gains during your rest period. Now, when I say rest period I don't mean resting for 5 days and working out for 2. lol
This article is for all of the people that work out 7 days a week with no rest. The only way that you will see any gains is to get at least 2 days of rest per week.

Get your rest or else

* You will be more prone to getting injured.

* Their would be little time for other things. Friends, family........ect

* "Workout burnout" You will not have any workouts to look forward to.

* Your spouse will complain about you not spending enough time with them.

I know this for a fact because I used to be that person that would go all out 7 days a week. My energy level were always low all the time, I also would just be going through the motions during my workouts. When I started getting 2 to 3 days a week rest I was much more energized. On the days that I did workout I put much more into my workouts.

I noticed much more gains in my workout than when I was working out 7 days a week. The last thing that you want to do is to get burned out on working out. I have seen a lot of people get burned out from working out 7 days a week an NEVER come back. Don't do this, you are inn it for the long run. Do you think you could work out 7 days a week without any rest?
