This is a great change of pace exercise for your shoulders. It may take sometime to get used to due to balance issues, but take your time and use very light weight dumbbells until you get use to it.
For this exercise make sure that you are on you side when you are doing this exercise. Use you opposite hand as leverage to keep your balance as seen on the illustration.
With the dumbbell in your hand you will want to make a full extension. The key to this exercise is to keep your arm straight as possible and to pause midway during your extension. This really puts emphasis on your shoulder muscles.
This will give your shoulders and back that sculptured look that you have been looking to get. Make sure that you rotate the different ball shoulder exercises that I have for you. These should be done in 3 sets of 6.
