This exercise is like doing a very intense push-up because not only are you working your abs, you are also working out your arms and chest! Make sure that you can balance your legs on the ball.
Try to keep your back straight and go all the way down to the floor. Your chest should hit the floor. Come back up and lock your arms, they should be fully extended.
This is a fairly hard exercise, so take it easy in the beginning. Just try to do as many as you can until you are able to work your way up to 3 sets of 10.
This exercise will have you lean around the mid-section. Try to combine all of your ball workouts with plenty of cardio if you are trying to get lean. You can alternate the different ab ball exercises to keep everything fresh.
