Carbohydrates are very essential to our body functions. Carbohydrates provide all of us with the energy we need to get through the day. Their are just so many diets out their that say carbs are bad for you and you shouldn't eat them. What really gets people in trouble are all the bad carbs that are out their. If you are not careful they can be very addictive and can have you buying a bigger belt in no time!
Their are many weight loss diets that stress good carbs in their eating plans because they are very effective at lowering your insulin levels and stabilizing your blood sugar levels. Eating plenty of carbs that are high in fiber will help you FEEL full and will keep you from overeating, which is the key to loosing weight and keeping it off long term.
Good Carbohydrates Bad Carbohydrates
1. Fruits 1. White breads
2. Vegetables 2. Candies
3. Nuts 3. Cookies
4. Whole grain cereal 4. Soda
5.Beans 5. Packaged snack foods
6. Legumes 6. White rice
You can eat bad carbs, but just make sure you keep them to a minimum. Bad carbs are not good for the body because it doesn't process them that well.. Have you ever had the feeling of being tired and restless after eating a big meal? Eating meals that are high in processed carbs can cause the following :
- Cancer
- Heart disease
- Obesity
- Diabetes
- Eye vision problems
- Poor blood circulation
- Low energy level
- Poor sex drive
- Your energy level will be much higher.
- Keep and maintain healthy weight levels.
- Your body will be working with you and not against you!
