Setting your fitness goals to help you loose more weight

If you are thinking about loosing weight, you should first make goals for yourself. How much eight do you want to loose? Is it 5 pounds, 10 pounds or more? Try not to set your goals to high especially in the beginning. The reason I say this is because if you don't reach the larger goals rather quickly, you might get discouraged and give up. Be realistic in your weight loss goals. Are you going to loose 20 pounds in a week ? Probably not..........

Think about it, if you set your goals in phases you have a much better chance for success. Say for instance that you want to loose 5 pounds in 2 weeks, this is something that is attainable. If you loose your excess weight slowly you have a much better chance of keeping it off long-term, which is what you should shoot for.

  • Write down your goals! This is extremely important. 
  • Make your goals easier in the beginning.
  • Research different exercises.
  • Find your motivation
  • Don't listen to the haters
  • And last but not least. Don't give up!
 If you are new to fitness it would probably be a good idea to consult with your physician to make sure everything is OK.




You will start to feel so good when you meet you first goal. Your confidence will be sky high! So ride the wave for as long as you can. Being healthy and maintaining your weight should be your long term goal. Keep setting new goals for your self. When you knock out on goal, quickly move to the next. In time your body will be a lean mean fat burning machine!
