Their are many ways that you can burn calories these days. When most people think about burning calories they think of only running or working out. This is so far from the truth. Their are numerous activities that have nothing to do with working out that you can do to burn calories, and actually loose as much weight as you want.

Yard work is a great way to burn calories!

The next time that you get out their to mow the yard, don't think of it as so much of a choir, think of it as a weight loss tool! Not only will you be knocking out a choir that needs to be done, you will be loosing weight also.

Did you know that you can burn as much as 300 to 600 calories from doing yard work! If you really want to burn some additional calories you can put on some 5 to 10 pound ankle weights.

You will never look at doing yard work the same!


Playing with the kids

Have you ever noticed that kids seem to have a motor that never shuts off? Why not loin them and loose some weight at the same time. Their are many sports that you can play with your kids to burn those extra calories. 

Kids can help you burn as many as 200 to 300 calories fast!

Not only will you loose weight playing these sports with your kids, you will also create a closer bond with your child which is always good. What ever you do, don't let your kid beat you because you will never hear the end of it!

Doing household choirs

Believe it or not you can get a good workout in your house without lifting weights. Think about how long you have been putting off all those household choirs that you need to do. So start moving and get them done

Not only will you burn many calories, you will also be able to get your spouse from nagging you about the choirs that you should have done last year!

  • Painting your house
  • Clean out that filthy attic
  • Shampoo your carpet
  • Replace that old roof
  • Clean and replace you flower bed
So what are you waiting for, their are plenty of things that you can do to burn calories at home.
