To reach all or most of your weight loss goals you will need to increase your metabolism. The reason that you are at your current weight is because your metabolism has slowed down greatly. I will show you how you can make some changes in your current lifestyle to help you burn fat so you can look good in your clothes and feel good, which I think is much more important.
Are you skipping breakfast?
Breakfast is one of if not the most important meal of the day that you can eat. Not only does it give you the energy that you need to get you going, it also keeps you from experiencing the "morning crash." Have you ever noticed that when you don't eat breakfast in the morning, you are very tired and sluggish? What is the first thing that you do at lunch time when it rolls around? Most likely you will find yourself overeating and this will just kill your metabolism, so this is why it is so essential that you eat breakfast.
Just get moving!
If you are a couch potato this message is for you! You have to get off the couch, put down the remote and get moving. Their are so many exercises that you can do to help you burn calories and fat but sitting on the couch is not one of them. Don't worry in the beginning if you are unable to do a lot of reps, because it will take a small amount of time until you get used to exercising.

This is something that is a must if you are trying to burn fat. Now I'm not saying that you have to eat nothing but salads all day, but most likely you will have to change your current eating habits.
I want you to ask yourself these series of questions
- How often do I eat fast food?
- What is my current eating schedule?
- What kinds of foods do I like to eat the most?
- How many times do I eat per day?
- How many glasses of water do you drink?
Your answers should look like this if you want to increase metabolism!
Answer 1
You should eat 5 to 6 meals a day that are no more than 300 calories each. Meals should be eaten every 3 to 3 1/2 hours. This will not only help you burn fat and boost your metabolism, it will also keep you from ever being hungry and over eating.
Answer 2
If you are only eating 2 to 3 times a day you are just killing your metabolism. Think of your body as a fire, what will happen when you dump a bunch of logs on the fire? It will go out fast, your body works the same way. So remember to eat small and space your meals out.

You should eat foods that are high in fiber and nutrients. Eat plenty of whole grains and fruits and vegetables.

You should eat 5 to 6 meals a day, with no more than 300 calories per meal to put your body in fat burning mode.

Drink 8 large glasses of water each day. I know this sounds like a lot, but you will get used to it. Not only does it flush out your system it also helps raise your metabolism.
These are actual changes that will help you loose weight and burn calories. Go at your own pace and use these steps to help you change your physical health around.
