Now don't get me wrong, their is nothing wrong with having a nice cold one every now and then. Beer is just loaded with empty calories, and most of those calories just turn into fat around the midsection for most guys. Drinking beer can turn into a bad habit just like smoking cigarettes, you can find yourself starting out maybe drinking one beer a day. If you are not careful that 1 beer a day can quickly turn into 3 to 4 beers a day! That's when you start gaining weight and your belly expands. Their are some things that you can do to combat this problem.

The method that I think that works the best is to ween yourself off of it slowly, if you are drinking 3 beers or more a day.
- Instead of drinking a full can, drink it out of small cups. (This does work!)
- Alternate your beer drinking with large cups of water, this will rehydrate you quicker and fill your stomach so you "feel full" this will keep you from drinking so much beer.
- Get off the couch! The reason I say this is because it's when people tend to drink the most beer.
- Start an exercise program.
- Be more health conscious, when you start doing this you will be more mentally proactive about all of the beer you have been drinking.
